The new series of "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" starts tomorrow night - so was, of course, recorded tonight at the BBC Television Centre. Taking advantage of hutchiebear's BBC pass again we headed down there - with the hope of seeing Hannah Spearritt, Andrew Lee Potts and maybe Tom Hanks or Chris Rock. Not to mention JR himself - we'd even dug out a completely random cool cartoon pic of him from an old issue of Empire in case we got the chance to get him to sign something.

Unfortunately, we completely screwed up and didn't put two and two together and realise that it was being recorded earlier than usual because Chris Rock is doing stage shows in and around London. I realised that as soon as we got there as I'd seen an interview of him on London Tonight yesterday. Anyway, we hung around for a while in the vain hope that someone might still be about - during which time JR left rather quickly and we only just noticed him leaving. He got in his car before we could do anything and we don't like bothering people once they're in their cars.

Sometime during the waiting I'd decided that I was gonna give up and go home by 9pm - luckily for us at about 8.59pm we noticed Hannah Spearritt and Andrew Lee Potts heading over to their cars - ever so slightly merry having been at the bar for a while. We approached them to ask for an autograph etc and I've no idea what Hannah thought Dave had said but she looked very confused and motioned to herself saying "Hannah...?" to which Andrew replied "no, they're after autographs". After that they were both happy to oblidge with Hannah signing the cover of Dave's Cult Times for Nicky (asking her name and everything) while Andrew (should I call him Andrew Lee?)) chatted away randomly to me and Dave - he said that he was heading straight up to Manchester tonight to film "Ideal" tomorrow and then asked us if we'd seen the show tonight. We replied that we hadn't because it'd finished earlier than we'd anticipated. Dave mentioned that he usually knows the times but he doesn't because he works nights now. Andrew said that it was because of Chris Rock having the leave earlier (which we'd thought anyway) and I said something about him doing shows in London. Anyway, during that he also signed Nicky's mag cover - and mentioned that he hadn't seen that issue of Cult Times yet. Dave mentioned that it had loads of spoilers in it (obviously, I haven't read it myself).

After than I handed Hannah a nice picture of her that's in some magazine that Dave had for her to sign and she asked my name for that too (for some reason I always like it when people do that. It seems more personal, even if it does decrease the value) - and then I asked Andrew to sign a little picture I had of him as Connor with Hannah as Abby. I explained briefly that it was only a small picture because the printer had had issues tonight. Then he bent down to lean on his knew to sign it - I offered him my magazine to lean on but he was like "nah, it's okay". Besides, he was down on the floor already!

Sometime during that I think we'd mentioned the possibility of getting a picture with them too and that was when Hannah asked if we'd take a picture of them two as well and proceeded to get her camera out of her bag! Andrew was like "you're getting your camera out now?!" or something! Lol! During that I'd handed my stuff to Dave so I could take the picture, then she handed me her camera and said "are you gonna do it, Tracy?". Luckily her camera was identical to mine (eee! Fangirly moment!) so I had no trouble using it - I think I actually said "your camera's the same as mine!" - and I took the most aborable picture ever of the pair of them! They were hugging each other tight and were smiling the biggest smiles ever! Awwwww!

Okay, how much do I wanna see that picture for real now? Lol!

After that we went in for our picture - Andrew was like "you gonna come in the middle?" (aww, I love him!) and then asked Nicky if she was coming in for it too and then told her to lean in close so we'd all get in. After that we said our thanks and goodbyes and they went inside because they didn't know which ones were their cars and had to ask at reception, they then left in seperate cars and we headed home - but not before I'd turned to Nicky and said "awww, I love him!". Ha!





I actually proper had my arms around them for this picture - but only 'cause they had their arms around me!

Note Hannah's new darker hair - apparently Andrew has had his hair cut too. Nicky saw him earlier without the hat. I somehow managed to miss him.

Anyway, it was nice to see them again. Andrew especially seemed more chatty this time - and he was so cute! He's also very poorly represented on the net. He has like no fansites out there. I don't even think there's an LJ community. Someone needs to make one. Maybe I will? Is there any interest?
